Technical diagnostics for websites and web applications

Understand the cause of an issue before committing to fixes. MT Software reviews your context, gathers relevant evidence and helps you prioritize the next actions.

Discuss your project

When this service is relevant

  • Your website or application is slow, unstable or intermittently unavailable
  • Recurring errors remain difficult to reproduce or explain
  • An update, integration or project handover has made the existing product less reliable
  • Technical debt is making decisions and future changes more difficult

What MT Software does

01

Define the symptoms, business impact and conditions required to reproduce the issue

02

Review the available front end, back end, APIs, dependencies, metrics or logs

03

Separate observed facts, likely causes and checks that still need to be carried out

04

Provide a clear summary of findings, priorities, risks and recommended next steps

From symptoms to an actionable decision

Observe the issue

Symptoms, frequency and impact are compared with the technical evidence available.

Assess possible causes

Verifiable facts are separated from hypotheses to avoid committing to premature fixes.

Set priorities

Actions are ranked according to urgency, risk and value to your business.

Once the cause and scope are established, the next step may be an optimization and remediation engagement.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

You receive an actionable summary covering verified findings, clearly identified hypotheses, priorities and next steps. You remain free to assign the fixes to MT Software or another provider.

A clear collaboration model

Each engagement starts with a scoping conversation. Scope, required access, responsibilities and verification criteria are clarified before work begins.

Scope and transparency

The purpose of the diagnostic is to understand the issue and support a decision. Fixes are not included by default. The confidence level depends on access, available data and whether the issue can be reproduced; these limitations are made clear in the findings.

Frequently asked questions

What does the diagnostic report include?

It covers the scope reviewed, findings, likely causes, any outstanding checks and an order of priority for the next steps.

Do you need access to the source code?

Not always. An initial diagnostic can begin with observable evidence. Access to the code, logs or hosting environment is then defined according to the issue.

Can you diagnose a project built by another provider?

Yes. MT Software can review an existing project using the access, documentation and contacts available.

Are fixes included in the diagnostic?

Not by default. The diagnostic is used to understand and prioritize the issue. A separate optimization or remediation engagement can then be defined.
